An international Am Law 100 firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated 2nd-3rd year associate (Class of 2023-2024) to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in San Diego. 
 
Qualified candidates will have experience with California wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation as well as litigating discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and similar matters. Candidates should also have experience providing day to day counseling on all aspects of employment law. Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required. Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred.  
 
We are seeking a team-oriented associate with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments. Top academics and experience required.  
 
Applicants must hold a JD from an ABA accredited law school and be active members in good standing of the Bar of the California Bar.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, the firm provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is $240,000-$260,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at the firm, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
