Hybrid – in office 3-4 days per week.  

· 1st-3rd year associates; billable hour requirement of 1900 billable + 150 investment time hours. 

· 4th year associates/senior counsel; billable hour requirement of 1950 billable + 150 investment time hours. 

 

An international Am Law 100 firm is seeking an associate with debt finance transactional experience to join its Finance Practice Group.  

 

The associate will support a broad range of debt finance transactions, including representing clients in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of financing and related ancillary documentation. The role involves advising on credit facilities and other financing arrangements and working collaboratively with partners and attorneys across practice groups to advance transactions efficiently. Associates in this role will have opportunities to interact directly with clients, manage day to day aspects of transactions, and assist in moving matters forward from initiation through closing. 
 


Qualified candidates will have 3–6 years of debt finance transactional experience, which may include lender side, borrower side, or a combination of both. Candidates must demonstrate strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple matters effectively. Candidates should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound professional judgment, a client service orientation, and must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
 


Strong academic credentials are required. Applicants must hold a JD from an ABA accredited law school and be active members in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the hiring office’s state will be a condition of employment.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, the firm provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 - $390,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at the firm, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
