An international Am Law 100 firm is seeking an associate with 3-4 years (Class of 2022-2023) of relevant experience to join its Financial Regulatory practice. This position may be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling banks, credit unions, FinTechs, non-bank commercial and consumer lenders, servicers, consumer reporting agencies, and technology providers on federal and state financial laws and regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and related consumer protection requirements. Qualified candidates must have experience with financial regulatory and state licensing analyses, regulatory interpretation, drafting and negotiating contracts and lending documents, and advising clients on compliance with key federal and state commercial and consumer financial regulations. Experience assisting with regulatory enforcement investigations and actions is a plus.

Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at the firm, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
